- The system controls the water flow at the entrance by using flood pumps by the water discharge. The controller that is used is PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to control 4 feed pump automatically based on running pump (running hour) and water level, a motor with less working hours will be a top priority for all four pumps running that the balance in the distribution of working hours. The project is in collaboration with Schneider Electric as a controller supplier, Grundfos as a pump supplier and the Ministry of Public Works as a user or user system. Thus the city of Semarang has a flood control system that can be run automatically.
